| この作品は、上に置かれた物の色を読み取り、その色に発光する机です。
手や服などいろいろな物で、自由に色を付ける事ができます。
複数の物が置かれた場合は、それぞれの色が混ざり合います。
実際の物を机の上に置き、色を入力する事で、
その物から色を取り込んだと直感的に感じる事ができます。
そのため、その色は元の物の情報を持っていると解釈され、
逆に色を見る事で、物にまつわる記憶や情動が呼び起こされます。
例えば、恋人の手から取り込んだ色は、カラーサンプルの色とは全く異なり、
特別に愛おしく感じられる事でしょう。
それは、実際に手を触れて取り込んだという事実があるため、
色を見ただけで、彼女の手のぬくもりや握り返す感触までも呼び起こすからでしょう。 |
