i have the 605, it works fine for me except when i erase toooooo much things, and the 604 doesnt look as nicly displayed and userfriendly

Get the new Archos 5. Go to their site and be blown away. (If Archos 5 is too much for you, get the 605, it has a better user interface and slightly better touch capabilities).
