I'm pretty sure that Terry Kirkman has "Billy Bob" teeth inserts for that one section of the video - it looks like he wants to break out laughing! As with a lot of the variety shows at that time, the Smother's Brothers were always seeking a laugh, even if during a serious song. I've seen these teeth in a couple other videos from the mid-60's also, one being a female model in Buffalo Springfield's "Mr. Soul". Look in other Association videos and you'll see Terry's teeth look fine.

Heavenly, a true classic, evokes long ago memories of driving and turning this song way up\I think it is their very best song and I purchased the LP 40 years ago

their lead singer needed some Dental work back than.....but was an awsome singer.all members had their unique style and voice to work with each other......

Dental work was very expensive and painful, not as common as today, plenty of singers had to wait to get work

my family has all dentists in it........back in 67'my Dad made me get in that chair and said I need to floss and brush better.....I was of course rebellious since I was 15/16 years old. Bur as most of us do, we mature and realize the importance of good dental care just like that lead singer knows today

You should take a look at the late actress, Gene Tierney. She is remembered as one of the most beautiful women of the 20th century and she had imperfect teeth. Still beautiful.

Why bother with dental work when you already have the perfect voice? No kind of surgery could buy those beautiful harmonies. Totally irrelevant.
