Oasis aint commercial..which is what you gotta be inorder to get maximum exposure and more universally appealing. Plus they are VERY parochial and refuse to connect with people from abroad
Look at Metallica...many of their fans claimed they sold out by becoming commercial around 1991...but the pay off was they became huge. Oasis have refused this...even Liam mocks the old stage gimmicks they used to have in mid 90's..its ok being real...but you still gotta conform somewhat.
