no one can say the south doesnt work the hardest! Cause you don't see a Universal or a Interscope across the street! You gotta get your hands on/make them units and get the public to get their hands on them units mayne!

ssjsongoku03, you sound stupid as fuck....asking why we sound so different. yall took the accent of northerners who enslaved your ass too....so shut the fuck up. by the way, it is so childish to worry about what other people are doing. thats whats wrong with alot of black people today.
ssjsongoku03 (August 17, 2008 at 9:11 pm)
nah nigga we escaped to the north where we came up with our own fucking accent like everything else, where you think your dances started? from breakdancing that originated in new york. i aint knockin you for the accent though.
crookedlettagurl601 (August 18, 2008 at 11:05 am)
im not talking about the slaves who escaped. im talking about the slaves who were there when slavery was legal up north and as far as dancing, nigga we've been dancing far longer than yall because we invented american music (jazz, funk, soul, r&b, blues, and rock&roll).
ssjsongoku03 (August 18, 2008 at 12:44 pm)
i'll give you that, you did create that shit, but what is the most popular music of our modern age? thats right rap its all about rap baby and the fact that you are dumbing down shit past the point of retardation aka soulja boy and hurricane chris is why its killing hiphop right now. see all women and southern ppl listen to is the beat, and thats where the east fucked up the beats. trust me you give us that old new york beat again and we'll forget all about you niggas
crookedlettagurl601 (August 18, 2008 at 10:00 pm)
you're like every stereotypical east coast cat. assume that every nigga down south is listening to the same shit. truth is teens across this country are mainly listening to mainstream music. most dudes down south dont even listen to soulja boy or hurricane chris. hell, i dont even listen to them. just like real artists up north, the real down south rappers are underground too. go listen to trae, z-ro, pastor troy, k-rino, goodie mob, dirty boys, and there's many more.

btw, you right about rap being ONE of the most popular music today, alongside rock&roll and pop but if it wasnt for the south, none of this music we have today would exist and/or sound the same.
