No he wasn"t. He died in 96. You know who was running the game then??? Nas, Wu, and Big! Pac even recorded a song with Meth and Red on his album knowing full well he couldn't go against all NYC. Pac used to run with Treach from Naughty By Nature...so he had places he could go to where cats gave him love. He also ran with Buckshot from Black Moon. You lack credibility in your choices and it's not your fault...they programmed you to think like this. Go back to that list...see what MCs are.

They were better and I am an MC myself...from the "Freestyle Files" fame. People who say Pac was the best are usually the same cats who get most of their influences from BET, MTV, and "Power" and "Hot" stations aka radio programing. Being from NYC...we get the distinct advantage of having organic and grassroots music.....meaning you have other sources like when Stretch and Bobitto were on the air or "Fatbeats" before it went thrash.
