Marikafan,sir, i GREATLY agree wit u. i went thru COMPLETE PHYSICALS....As a VOLUNTEER i had 2. ...Some of the thngs i had 2go thru a 2nd time becuz 1 of the children got too sick & was to weak 4his surgery. & they said certain thngs had 2be in a time frame....Pain & all,i cldnt imagin some1 telln My child "NO", BUT ME i wld have 2 EXPLAIN 2them, the worst that i kno of, that can happen to them....&then pray they'd still donate. i wlda done it ALL OVER 4My cuzn Oct '08 2keep him a lil longer.

1st off...Puttin' My feelins to the side 4the way u respond to some1 that cld of been the 1 helpin ur child....Sorry 4 ur Lost.
But TRUTH iS TRUTH.... & im not gonna argue with u, i've seen My infant daughter w/tubes down her throat, i.v's in her body....
....doctors strugglin to bring her BACK TO LIFE....
....Maybe thats why i donated BoneMarrow to 2Strangers that i've neva met. The same age as My children.
Regradless of u sayn its EZ NOW...THE FACT iS, PPL NEED 2KNO what cAn happen.

My apologies..yes people should KNOW what can happen...they should also go through COMPLETE PHYSICALS before donating to make sure that they're 100%

Erica found a donor..she relapsed about 6 months post transplant..she seemed to be doing well and she just go sick again and died so quickly :(....
