To be honest,I haven't progressed past the masterpiece of FOUR CORNERS, but upon hearing this today I shall. What a beautiful record - Thanks!

this is the first time im hearing this track. I heard the re-make of it on the 25 anniversary album and it doesn't sound the same.
This is pure Pro.

This a very good album which is Bob Mintzer's debut, but I've never liked the way the drums were mixed on the entire session; string arrangement was a nice touch. Really wish Haslip could've been turned up a little more, because this is a sweet bassline!

This is so damn tight!! What a wonderful selection and placement of each note. Each of the 4 masters giving the other's sounds a chance to breathe.
Sweet fusion groove. The African grooves (keys/drums) are reminiscent of Wildlife, another gem.
The lead-in before the sax solo is just gorgeous. You can almost sense the destination, yet the journey is its own reward.
And the solo? Sonic Gestalt!
Put the phones on close the lids... This is about as close to musical bliss as it gets.
Wow....
