wow! great video , thanks for giving us a chance to see the likes of peter haughton, a great young talent and the mark he left in just a short time in the sport. The haughtons have faced tragedy but the legacy they left us will never be forgotton. The likes of glen garnsey, peter and william haughton, shelley goudreau , stanley dancer all were before my time but make me wonder like a boy what it must have been to be them........ legends all!!!!

Wow, it's so good to see anything associated with the late great Brandywine Raceway. How I miss that place -- I was trying to tell if that was Gene Hart calling the race in the background. Thanks so much for posting this.

Great interview by Marv who is a fine gentleman and is still doing wonderful interviews to this day. He is a great ambassador of harness racing. Peter's untimely death is so tragic and ironically his father, a legend, passed away from a racing accident at Yonkers not too long after. Very sad story indeed.

"..from a racing accident..."
Actually he lost his life in an automobile accident on a roadway near the Meadowlands.

A great interview by Marv Bachrad. Peter was as cool as a cucumber and very smart. He truly appreciated all he had and would have set all kinds of records had he lived longer. He was a true natural as far as training and driving go. Peter was an all around horseman and a gentleman.

All these years, and this brings tears to my eyes; thanks for posting! I was at Liberty Bell Park the night that Doublemint upset Speedy Somolli in the Colonial. Cold Comfort, Keystone Pioneer, Handle With Care, Armbro Omaha - the horses that he had already won with, and he was still more or less just a kid! G-d bless you Peter; you have been very missed.
