Uncle Tom-ism...because I said to read a book? Let me guess, you think keepin it real is having lots of sex, smoking weed, and living off the government right? Nigga, gets a job, and stop being a dumb nigga...Malcolm X read, Huey P. Newton read, Mos Def, Common, Talib...they all read, so by telling someone to turn off BET (owned by rich white folks) and read a damn book, I'm wrong...my how the system has got your mind all twisted the fuck up...you are the real nigga here.

In your attempt to sound intelligent and stand apart from those black person's out there you find to be "unintelligent" you made yourself look even MORE ignorant, mal-informed and plain STUPID...In fact your words despite the initial tone, inspire feelings STRONG hints of dare I say something even WORSE than "base ignorance" but "Uncle Tom-ism" if thats even a word and ultimately a strong sense of self-hate..In otha words YOUS da DUMB Nigga.. Lift UP Dont PUT Down Bruv, Peace.

You have been too dumbed down to get the video, then too bad for you...also, the video isn't just about drugs, its about any addiction, be it drugs, love, material things...damn black people, pick up a book and learn some damn English, especially about analogies and playing on words...read some Shakespeare...yall black people these days almost make me ashamed to say I am a part of yall, when half of yall don't even get this simple video...

you have been too dumbed down by BET and the media to get it, so don't even stress that weak brain of yours...

Just when you think Jay-Z has come out with every creative song possible, he puts this out and impresses again. R&B feel with a hip-hop flow. One of my top 3 Jay-Z songs of all time!

My favorite song off of American Gangster. Did anybody besides me catch that Jay uses Pharell for that token "Love Song" on every album. This isnt a love song but the way J wrote it , it can go either way.
