ok, i needa for everyone to quit arguin over who is better, whitney or karen. both ladies are extremely talented and people will just have a personal opinion about who they think is better vocally and you can't change someones mind about that. so lets jus give it a rest please

it's not all about runs. It's about power, tone, beauty, and vocal control. In her prime Whitney had more beauty, and vocal control than Karen. I do love Karen's voice, but all that running and growling gets annoying afterwhile. I could listen to Whitney's voice all day.

And Whitney still has more money than Karen or all the Clark Sisters put together. so Karen can keep screaming, but Whitney has paid her dues and paved the way for MANY artists.
