If you're talking about this video, he is reminiscing a short moment before this clip where he glided down the atmosphere during a battle with a zaft pilot which a refugee shuttle crossing in between the battle was shot by the zaft gundam while attempting to save the shuttle. Inside the shuttle was a little girl who have him a origami flower before she left.
