is there a way to control the volume on this amp? like a way to lower the wattage. i need a tube amp but 100 watts is too much

i tryed a lot of amps and this one is the best one ever! better than mesa or engl !!!! you dont need other effects or modeling pods to get the sound you like!!! fuckin gread, i played it with my jackson dinky with emg PUs... pure orgasm :P

If I were to spend $1500-$2000 on a guitar amp, it sure as shit wouldn't be a Marshall. Marshall great cleans (second only to a Mesa Boogie Formula preamp through a Mesa 50/50 power amp) and great crunchy mids, but that's it. You can do much better for the money. High gain in a Marshall is all fuzz.

try the 100dsl it should be around $1,100-1,200 its amazing for hard rock and the clean is outstanding

Dude are you even listening to this vid? obviously your not gonna be playing serious metal with the strat, but shit i would play just about anything super raunchy sounding with it. for a smoother sound tho you'd definitely go humbuckers
