Ok. Thanks for the tip. I´ll check it out :-)

A copy through You Tube? Check Amazon.

No, not at all. I don´t think it was enhanced. I just think it was played in D-major but inadvertently recorded in such a way that reproduces the recording in E-flat major (1/2 tone higher). I do however hear that ELP on this video played this at a faster tempo than on their original recording on the Trilogy album. Could you maybe send a copy of the 1974 version? I´d be curious to hear that.
Cheers .-)

So you think it's a digital enhancement?
Have you listened to the live album 1974, is that enhanced?

I know what your saying, the fingers are real. If you watch them you´ll see that Keith starts the tune with an A rising via portamento an octave to the next A. That´s the 5th degree of the D major key. But what we are actually hearing is E-flat, this is a descrapancy in the recording at the time. Still a fantastic performance though.
Cheers,
IAN :-)

This is realtime, watch the fingers.

Yes it´s sped up, i´m sure not on purpose though. This is an old recording subject to the slightly flawed technology of the time. I had the original album and i play this myself too. The original key is D major.
Great video, amazing rendition.
I love ELP.
All the best :-)

Ah, so this tape is actually sped up?
