Sorry, but I just hate people, who call games "art". Games are games, art is art. Art belongs on a museum, games belong in people's home. This game is GREAT. One of the best, and most beautiful games ever made. But it is NOT art. Sorry.

I completely disagree - it's very narrow-minded to categorise art in that way. To me, art is about freedom of expression and making the 'user' experience some emotional response. But my interpretation is by no means the 'correct' one either.

Games can absolutely be a type of art-form as to me, they can accomplish the above. Games, like movies & music, are primarily meant to entertain but no-one ever said art wasnt allowed to be entertaining.

Whether this game is art though, is up to you

im gonna use inverse psychology. you stated categorizing games independently would be very narroww minded, but how is that so? giving different categories to movies games art etc only expands, it doesnt narrow

This is your opinion, I respect it. But I think very different from you. For me art can be much more than what you think. Is it not the "classical" art? Who cares? The computer game is a very young form of expression, give it enough time and he will have its place in museums...
