This is the old narration by Vincent Price. They changed it to french a while ago, because the french people had problem to understand what Price was saying. A shame!

Youre not right about that ;) In the elevator scene you can see the groom hanging on the ceiling when the lights are turning off.
The Phantom has hanged him with the rope ;)

It's about as old as the park actually. I went there 12 years ago and it was already there.

Taking a two year old on this ride wouldn't be a good idea.

I know, I don't mean this ride in particular, but Disneyland Paris. You said it was built for Europeans in general and most Europeans understand English apart from the French...I've been to the place a million times and heard the Europeans ( visitors or employees ) there, and I also work in retail and see European people everyday in Paris. The English they speak isn't really English, you know...I think it'd be nice and simpler if people could get tapes with translations in their languages...

Well let's put it this way, most of Western-Europe does. Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourgh, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Germans seem to be getting along in English much better these days. I'm not saying they should ban French in the park altogether, I quite like the French touch to the park. I've heard the new Crush coaster is a mix of French and English, glad they are doing something about it these days. It's still a shame Vincent Price's storytelling can't be heard anymore.
