Tom Hanks in Philadelphia
BackAndrew Beckett (Tom Hanks), a gay lawyer infected with HIV, is fired from his conservative law firm in fear that they might contract AIDS from him. After Andrew is fired, in a last attempt for peace, he sues his former law firm with the help of a homophobic lawyer, Joe Miller (Denzel Washington). During the court battle, Miller sees that Beckett is no different than anyone else on the gritty streets of the city of brotherly love, sheds his homophobia and helps Beckett with his case before AIDS overcomes him.

I've seen this movie more than 10 times... I just can't say why but to me this is TO ME the greatest movie of the last 20 years at least.

Ancora oggi,a distanza di anni da quando lo vidi,se sento questa canzone o anche solo la parola Philadelphia,mi viene da piangere.
Tom Hanks,in questo film,ha superato se stesso:ha veramente strameritato l'oscar. Fantastico film:dovrebbero darlo almeno una volta all'anno sulle tv nazionali.Molta gente avrebbe da imparare qualcosa da questo film.
