BackThe 3rd movement of Terje Rypdal`s Symphony no. 2, "The New Era" (Opus no. 11, 1978). Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Per Dreyer, cond., Palle Mikkelborg as soloist. Aired on NRK Radio in 1978. Rypdal was nominated for the very prestigious Nordic Council Music Award in 1978 for this symphony. It was planned for an ECM release, but it never happened.(Paste &fmt=18 at the end of the URL for High Quality picture & sound higly recommended!).
