The song is about hope, it basically sais that no matter how bad things get or may seem hold on because there is always tomorrow, things will get better and life is worth living. "It IS NOT" telling anybody to off themselves but to hold on to hope. Those of us who have lost loved ones can appreciate the deep meaning of the song.
