Actually that is completely wrong, being afraid to use the word only cements it's meaning. Why wouldn't you be using the word? Because it's meaning would still be offensive. Words get meaning from human community, that is how language works. We also know that language evolves as communities evolve, that is an anthropological fact. This is why the word offends older people but not a lot of younger people. These older people are only part right, the words meaning cannot be changed...FOR THEM.

Thanks to this music video, I finally bought the CD "Ain't No Other" 15 years after its release.
And because that rap music poseur who calls himself 50 Cent has destoyred rap and hip-hop (thanks to his stupid claim that he got shot 9 times, when it was really 3....heck, even I don't know how many times he got shot), his music has made me purchase MC Lyte's "Ain't No Other" and many other rap and hip-hop music CDs released during 1988 through 1997.
SUPPORT REAL RAP AND HIP-HOP. PEACE. :-)
