Am surprised you said that..
I just heard Junoon's version..
Rabbi's version conveyed the spiritual intent in a better fashion..

I grew up with Junoon so maybe my view is somewhat biased...I've always found Ali Azmat's voice to have a raw edge to it so although it may not sound as 'fluid' as Rabbi's..it certainly feels more passionate (to me anyway ^_^)

Nicely said! This is a beautiful song with exquisite poetry that's about the struggle of self-discovery, something that applies to everyone. So appreciate it! It's a gorgeous song.

ok.. sorry for all my other Pakistani brothers.. its just due to some annoyin kids dat get on my nerves sumtimes.. they come over to Indian videos just to talk shit..

Thats very mature BROTHER, you jerk. Some one got on your nerves and you decide to insult a country. By the way, there are thousands of Punjabi videos on this site, both Indian and Pakistani, visited by people from both countries. This kaafi was written by a Muslim saint who hailed from an area now in Pakistan. His poetry belongs to everyone who seeks goodness. People such as you are filth who should stay away from such pure poetry.
