Inspired by 'Dee'? Randy was influenced by Rik, he said so himself in interviews.

I think Randy wrote dee in 1981?

Randy said in a 1981 interview that is on Youtube somewhere, that El Duende Agonizante from the Rock And Roll Machine song, The City, was his favorite classical piece.

Triumph was one of my younger brother's & my first concerts back in the early 80's. Big big fans. Rik still tours so look for him...actually last summer he played an outdoor gig here in rochester, NY for FREE. He is certainly older but can still play that beautiful guitar.

I wish that could have seen them live but they split before my concert days started. i am only 35 years old. My older brother saw them before they split up. Is there any chance for a reunion?

only a moron think that jazz or progressive players are better than rock/pop.
Many poprock players can kick those jazz's ass!
