just rename it to Filename.m4r, and click ok when it askes you to confirm. Peace

Well GREAT video, i couldnt possibly go on paying .99 cents for every ringtone. Anyways, can you please make a video similar to this one for TEXT message tone(sms) thanks

Thank you Bwana. You know this is one of the few things I have succesfully done that is remotely related to IT. It worked great with Windows XP and the latest version of iTunes. It did work slightly differently for me in that I found the file in my Library's 'Music' folder from which I simply dragged it into the Ringtones folder under Devices. I hope this snippet of info helps others. In the mean time thanks again Bwana that was cool.
