If I understand well, you are exactly like those who condemned Mahler and Bartòk because they were interested in "vulgar" and "low chart" popcul and used it to evolve the classical musical language? Don't you?

I think the parts of Bartok and Mahler that strongly utlized indigenous peoples' musics and such were retrogressive in nature. Ultimately, there could be no 'culture' but that might require there to be no humans.

You're funny.Mahler and Bartok retrogressive?Yes Webern is linguistically more concise and off course rich of immediate future.But even Stockhausen and Boulez and Berio adopted Mahler.I'm courious to know your backgraound:you're a sort of Milton Babbit pupil (and I like Babbit)?So is even Stockhausen Hymnen retrogressive because uses "popcul", and Berio Sinfonia? And Birtwistle Panic? And Sacre? Yes,Boulez apparently don't but don't makes him less "pop" for me eheh (and Boulez liked Beatles)

I remember you that the work responsible for one of the most determinant upset of Classical Occidental musical tradition belongs to "popcul". And precisely Le Sacre du Printemps. ;-) And even in painting is the same.

I'm not particularly fond of The Rite of Spring. It's okay. Ravel and Debussey, on the other hand, had some nice stuff, but their exposure to modal music just happened to be via the circus stuff.
I find the personal interest in primitive cultures to be a retrogressive sentiment. Surely there's something to any component in history, but there is little utility in those cultures, or even culture at all.
I don't 'follow' anything. I find functionality. Yes, Hymnen and Sinfonia are backward.

Quanto alla musica, se ti senti un "letterato" nonostante le carenze da prima elementare (e non capisco che cosa diavolo c'entri l'essere o non essere "moderno e giovanile"), immagino che i tuoi parametri ti facciano sentire un "musico" con analoghe carenze.
Pensa a studiare tu (italiano e musica), cretino, prima di dare consigli patetici.

Cmq quando c'è bisogno scrivo anke così a volte se t interessa. Ke cosa c'è d male? Cmq adesso nn parlo + d grammatica cn te. Se vuoi discutiamo sui campi armonici, sulla moltiplicazione delle frequenze, sull'isoritmia, sull'eterofonia, sui filtri passabanda, sulle polarizzazioni, sulle ripartizioni statistiche, sull'interazione vettoriale dei parametri del suono e sulla preorganizzazione ritmica stratificata polimetrica irrazionale e sulle strutture multifunzionali.

E mentre farnetichi di "STRUTTURE POLIFUNZIONALI" e "MOLTIPLICAZIONI DELLE FREQUENZE" spero tu sappia si trova il do sul pentagramma con chiave di violino.
