The Pen Tool is the king of paths, you can create any king of path using the pen tool, you just need to know how to use it! nice tutorial. i learned a few things from it (already using it atm). pen tool is my idol on this program. i just made a guitar with it (traced like u did). ill make a video to show an almost final draft of one of my works i did on it.

i have CS3 and i dont get that + and - when i put it ontop of an other line :(

Try going to the pen tool and click on it and hold it down so it gives you more options, two of them should be a plus and a minus sign.

yeah i know that... but it would be alot faster to just put it ontop of the line...
