Even today, albinos in South Africa face widespread prejudice and discrimination. Rejected by both the black and white communities, they struggle to find their place in society.
"Some women spit when they see me. They think albinism is contagious and that will stop them catching it", confides albino Ntswaki. Both her parents are black but because of her white skin her father rejected her at birth. "I feel I am in strange place -- not white enough, not black enough."

If you consult the Merriam-Websters Collegiate Dictionary (or their website), it clearly gives the pronunciation as Al-bi-no. I never said the other way was wrong, just different (and hilarious), and in fact it isn't wrong, just pronounced differently from region to region. If you consult the free online dictionary, it gives both the U.S. and UK version of the word, complete with audio. Thanks for reading waaaay too far into a YouTube comment, you self-serving douche bag.
