Just the two second lick he plays at 1:13 demonstrates how absurdly good SRV was. Liking his playing is not a matter of personal taste but a matter of intelligence and culture. If you really think one of those Nu-Metal punks has even 1% of SRV's talent and feel, then you're simply wrong.

yep. and a major influence on SRV was hendrix alogn with BB king and they both share afew influences. hmmm maybe we can trace the source influence that made them never play the same thing twice eh?
