invisibleSHIELD Strength Test - iPhone

Back

The invisibleSHIELD™ is a polyurethane film originally used by the military to protect the leading edge of helicopter blades. It is now designed to protect gadgets such as the iPhone and the iPod from scratches.

This video demonstrates how strong the invisibleSHIELD truly is.

I can't tell whether this is sarcastic or not, but um... yeah, the latex-free condoms... ARE polyurethane :P

The condoms made of it are not *quite* as durable for their (god I hope) 1 time use, but still a nice tight seal (just a bit of a firmer fit, so just like this product, it's gotta be more precise than rubber)... um yeah, so how's the weather :)

yeah exactly wut theyre trying prove its not like weight its goin be ur iphone, i thing there point is that its durable and it wont break easily or rip i think thats wut they means idiots the icrap its crap anywyaz

great!!!! finally a shield that will stretch 10 times it's origional size. Exactly what does that prove? How does that help protect the phone? Now...if it held 1000 lbs without stretching or without the shape distorting....that would be a product to buy.

OK, um, you realize if it didn't stretch, then one of its physical properties would be that it would be BRITTLE. In other words, if it didn't have the flex, it would break more easily. It wouldn't handle the punctures, the scratches, or the weather changes that this all-weather, all-moisture, high-pressure material can handle. It's used in some of the top labs... and oh yeah, brittle products that don't stretch also don't wrap so securely or precisely. High school physics and chemistry...

this proves the material is strong, with any case of course 1000 pounds will crush the device, these demonstrations test its structural durability in relation to its scratch proof-ness. the same test with ordinary screen cover material would shatter instantly, my dad flys black hawk helicopters he knows about this stuff, i highly recommend it

like i said, if u put the shield on a phone itself and 1000lbs on it, its NOT gonna shield it. This test is stupid, just proves the shield is strong when the phone is already broken if its dropped from a high distance. Put the shield on a phone and drop the phone from like 30 feet, the phone WILL be fuked up but the shield will be ok.... no point of having the shield right? mind if as well js get a regular scratch protector then spend 10 or 15 bucks more and get a dumb thing like this
