The group was totally ripped off by their management and the song was handed over to Harry Nilsson who made it a world wide hit. The record company refused to credit Ham and Evans for this song for many years and they both subsequently killed themselves due to dire financial hardship and legal problems. This is yet another version of the song performed by Air Supply.

I heard Russell Hitchcock sing "Without You" this past summer. His voice is amazing, at 59 years old! Even 20 and 30 year-olds thought it was great.

No one, including Mariah Carey, has ever brought the raw, gut-wrenching emotionality this song represents, to this song, like Harry Nilsson.
Take away the ECHO and all of the others who have tried to sing this very difficult song would slink away in shame next to Harry.
