ThaMastah, Jefferson was right. Eventually christianity and all other religions will be seen as mythology one day and rightly so. It is a shame that someone of a younger generation such as yourself should be indoctrinated this way. Just take a look at the rantings of seeker there as a warning. The evidence of god and the light of god's charity is really working through him don't you think? You have an inquiring mind so don't simply accept this mythology.
Just something to think upon. :-)

The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately, by the grace of God.

May it be to the world, what I believe it will be, (to some parts sooner, to others later, but finally to all,) the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves, and to assume the blessings and security of self-government. All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man.

"I think that's supported. Where did he get his pride? I see. Do you believe that Satan's desires are innate in him?"
Would you like me to say it for you?
"Did God create Satan with a pride that would destroy him? How then can he find fault?"

"Because the root cause of his rebellion was his pride."
I think that's supported. Where did he get his pride?
"Is that not "your own head", as I described earlier?"
I see. Do you believe that Satan's desires are innate in him?

"Why do you think that is?"
Because the root cause of his rebellion was his pride.
"My desires are innate. How are yours?"

You knowledge is mostly based on the Old Testament and you should read The New one, you should repent every day for your sins and at every moment you sin knowingly and some things that you said are metaphors wich only the wise will understand and the sinfull will suffer it.... You sound smart but you are to careless to understand what the Bible means...God Bless You.

"His character is/was obviously very conceited."
Why do you think that is?
"Where else should desire come from?"
My desires are innate. How are yours?
