Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick - I haven't told her.
BackThe 1967 Carthy-Swarbrick duo on the Peter Seller's song "I haven't told her, she hasn't told me" is without equal in the folk revival. One thing they were never known for was vocal duets, so this rarity from Danish TV may come as a surprise. Filmed (very badly it has to be said) in Dave Swarbrick's flat, the recording is a one-off. I just fell about when I saw this (on the free CD-Rom). Even better because of the utter incompetence of the cameraman. Anybody know if the other Danish TV footage featuring pneumatic ladies and Swarb and Martin in jester suits survives??
