This Bond has had his share of wit. He uses it when they're alive to. Such as "I don't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood." Or "that last hand nearly killed me." Or "It's time to get out."

He deels with impossible odds using with to. "I have an itch down there." And by kicking people in the face.

Gadgets in general have established themselves as a staple of the majority of the Bond film series, but Casino Royale proved that an emphasis on characters and their (conflicting) emotions make for a deeper, more enjoyable movie. You know, less superficial bang-bang shiny object, more insight into Bond and his enemies.

I'm sorry. I know I've commented several times (and never talked about music, I can play YKMN on the recorder. Okay I lied but atleast it's topical.) and I've already responded to Luffnaru but I feel I have to say this and I didn't cover it before.

I'm not saying Bond is composed of gadgets. There are lots of differences between new Bond and old.
Peygaagyep (December 4, 2008 at 4:07 pm)
One point for luffnaru. But I ask you, do we want a romanticised Bond or a real Bond?
Peygaagyep (December 4, 2008 at 4:05 pm)
I don't think that contradicts what I said, yes it's a new style for Bond, and like I said that style is generic action guy. Batman would just be a vigilante without the gadgets and costume. The point of what I said was that new Bond, although cool, has lost it's way and no longer captures the charm and sophistication of Ian Fleming's original ideas.

James Bond is not composed of gadgets.

Have you ever read the books?
I think you havent, because this Bond looks more alike than the Bond that apears in the Ian Fleming's James Bond.
In a few words:
THIS IS THE REAL 007 MI6 JAMES BOND

Well, I'll atempt. I also don't agree with that, so I'll try. James Bond is a character. Each person has made him who he thought he was; how they viewed him. Daniel Craig took Bond and made him in his way. His way wasn't gadgets, but stealth and smarts. Gadgets after gadgets don' make a story great, it's the characters. Also, these films are a "reboot" of sorts, so new things had to happen.

James Bond is man who delivers sharp/daft witticisms just after taking someone's life, he fights deadly odds with cool unrealistic gadgets. Without things like these Daniel Craig's Bond is just an action movie hero. A really cool one and I love all his films but he isn't the James Bond. He's just another manly cool guy, whereas Bond was so much more than that.

I don't actually agree with this but after seeing so many Craig-fans I had to ask; can you prove me wrong?
