Oh dear a copyright infringement. The music execs won't be able to buy another island for their kids! Have they ever considered that people like me hear something on the tube and get inspired to go out and buy it?

Of course not, they're concerned about the money they might be losing. In their mind, everybody is listening to it so they don't have to pay to listen to it.

OK, I read your problems with youtube's belief that there was a copyright infringement. If this is the case, then why not include Tiny Tim's version of "Ever Since You Told Me That You Love Me (I'm A Nut)"? That would be a fun piece to listen to don't you think?

For some odd reason, I am getting Tiny Tim's Tiptoe Through the Tulips instead of Citadel by the Rolling Stones. Tiptoe through the Tulips was written way back in 1929 by Maurice... (I forgot how to correctly spell his last name, Chavalier?). It was originaly a broadway musical which had a man serenading a woman at the windowsill and the tulips in the background blossomed into people who tiptoed as they danced. It is an old American tune, but I wanted to see a not so old British tube.

Thanks for posting this great song. Keith does some good guitar work while Brian plays some brilliant mellotron on this track.

Although this awesome tune was on the Psychedelic "Satanic Majesty's Request" album from late-1967, it sounds like a preview of the "back to basics" direction the Stones would soon take starting in mid-1968 with "Jumping Jack Flash" then moving on thru their five classic albums: Beggar's Banquet, Let it Bleed, Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main St.

thanks for the posting. This song made me see/hear the Stones differently.
