what about Shannon Larkin? :) and my personal favorite Jeff Campitelli? ... He's good, but to say the best it's a bit much :).

larkin ??? Love him .......campitelli ?? Not heard of him though.....when I said best - I meant best for steve vai.......so far....he's got more feel. I remember a great drummer called jack dejohnette once said this - that a drummer could have too much techique that it becomes a stumbling block to music. Jeremy is not as technical as bozzio and he sure's not as technical as mangini.....but he seems more musical .....mmmm

I saw Steve Vai live in Toronto last year. It was amazing.
