I like both of these rappers. DMX i dont like as much cuz he tripped out on me and my homeboyz during one of his concerts, but i think Jay would have won him, lyrically. Thatz my opinion tho

my point is back then jay z's first album is a lyrical masterpiece its compared to nas's first and big's first placed above all others you cannot say the same for dmx's albums and me being white is irrelevant you cant tell me black people should know any better than me about what hip hop is cuz you yourself said eminem is better than dmx and hes a white guy in the 90's everything was lyrics and thats whate made an album not a beat or a fad similar to what soulja boy produces

and back in those days the people werent so concerned with what was real hip hop and whats not we knew big was better than pac if anyone thought different they were a westside dickrider or an idiot....and as far as the source giving praise to those artists im sure it was only for record sales and surely not commenting about soldier boys lyrical skills...to be continued...
