The tradition of dog fighting thrives in Afghanistan's capital.
Having been banned under the Taliban, it is currently undergoing resurgence in popularity for the thousands of men looking for some form of entertainment and escapism from the constant war.
"For us dog fighting is a celebration," exclaims one of the fight organisers.

Its a Centra Asian Shepherd dog. Beutiful dogs. And those poeople use them for fighting... its brutal. But not as brutal as the dogfights in USA. At least these dogs dont fight till death. But still, its wrong and a real shame to use these nice dogs for such purpose.

That is... vile. I couldn't watch that without making a pool of tears. As a 14 year old I think that I will be distressed by that now, for the next couple of days. Anybody who can watch any animal including humans get murdered and enojoys it, is sick and twisted in the head. I'm not saying they don't deserve to survive, but they deserve to be locked up for life. It's just... sick.
