I love songs that are obviously very personal to the songwriter, and this is a gem. I didn't have an old Ford, but I did learn how to drive a fiberglass boat with a Mercury 10 horse moter.

Ford rocks. I owned a 79 Ford that my Uncle bought brand new, had a 351 Cleveland with 200k miles on it, still running with 450k, just can't pass a gas station with it, but hey Ford all the way!

This song reminds me of simpler times..Being a little girl and sitting on my dad's lap driving that old red ford on that dirt road without a care in the world.. man life was good.. Still is good now just more complicated :)

I really like this song it reminds me of those good old times my frist time was driveing a bayliner 50 horse the next veichal was a 1993 Ford f250 xlt i am just hoping he pass that truck to me man i love those memories
