thats right. I have heard aa lot of sephardic music from various countries, but this has Indian Tabla and other influences. Considering that Indian Jews are broadly clasified as Mizrahim or Sephardim, maybe this is also called Sephardic music.

I don't agree with that classification. Indian Jews are Indian Jews; Sephardic Jews are those from Sefarad (Spain & Portugal), and not from India.
Dror Yikra is a piyut composed by Dunas ben Labrat, a Sephardic Jew. I think the musicians are also of Sephardic origin, so I think this can be called Sephardic Music without a doubt

Thats right, many don't agree with this kind of classification .Most of my Indian Jewish scholar friends classify themselves 'under' Sefaradi considering the Rabbis who taught their forefathers, similar practices etc.while the chief Rabbi of India says they are 'Edot ha Mizrah' ( Eastern Jews). I have seen several Mizrahim also calling themselves Sefaradim. What particularly facinated me after years of listening to Jewish music from around the world was the Indian influences in this song.

In fact apart from the classification, which I guess varies with interpretations ( I come across many diverse ones everyday), Indian Jewish music often resembles Seferadi music due to the influence of visiting Rabbis, traders and settlers. This is surely sefaradic music I know, but the Tabla etc. give it an Indian touch. I am a professional Tabla player who has performed with many Sefaradic musicians and its not a bad idea.
