I be a "Jap" and am not offended when the Duke of Earle uses the term in this particular context. Like dig, he got only $37 and a piece of shit for a guitar (this was before Nippon Gakki started making em good)...We've all been there, right?

Now this is REAL country music, man. The quintessential "road song." None better. Ever. "Got a two pack habit and a motel tan." How great is that? Legend.

I can see where ur coming from Steve but I was lucky enough to see him tonight at an intimate theatre show where there were only 200 tix sold and I wouldnt trade it for the world! Except maybe a Dave Coe tour in Australia! But we all know thats unlikely cos people in Aus dont actively seek out country music....its a shame we are missing out on so much goodness all for our R&B, rock, top 40 culture....fuck
