nevermore and canibal corpse are too different to compare directly. They are both masters of their own genres, leave it at that.

i like listening to CC.. but.. the lyrics are pretty lame... doesnt seem like much thought would go into the words themselves, but w.e

The lyrics dont need much thought though. Some people have a Generic mind towards music and Lyrics. I mean just because some bands or musicians write Lyrics about something really Important or something important to them doesent mean that every other band should do aswell. Its a different direction. They write about Gore and Short stories like Horror movies Stephen King etc. Their there to create a horror/shock factor. So there is some thought into em.

Thats the way they write lyrics, but its just not what is gonna grab my attention, i like lyrics that mean somethin to me. Maybe they don't, maybe they just wanna scare teh fuck outta people, and thats okay by me :)

Yeah. For me Lyrics arent really important to me. Im more into the musical and Technical side.

i agree, as long as it sounds fucking good it doesnt matter. but when the lyrics are powerful i think it can add a greater effect for the image in your mind when you picture the song.

Both Cannibal Corpse and Nevermore is awesome.
I really like them both.
Pat is cool and Jeff is cool. They are both cool.
