This is a great explination.
I remember 8 years ago several of my mates put up a notepad document in an editable section of our school network in a similar manner. Of course the more people who found out the more people used it and eventually several people were editing the same document at once and comments were lost.
Good concept, but flawed somewhat flawed the more it gets used.
