EXCALIBUR FILM TRAILER REDUX!
BackHiDef.com is pleased to present its first in its series of "Movie Trailers Done Better!!!!!"
In celebration of the newly released EXCALIBUR HD-DVD, HiDef.com has had its secret "Masters of the Cut" take a look at the original theatrical trailer used to sell and position the film back in 1981.
After much debate within the inner circle, it was agreed that the original EXCALIBUR theatrical trailer just didn't do the film justice - so the Masters took it upon themselves to correct this grave imbalance in the universe by creating their own EXCALIBUR theatrical trailer.
Hidef.com now brings you the exclusive look at what the "Masters of the Cut" created and asks YOU, "Did they improve upon the original trailer?"

The best King Arthur based movie, and one of my personal favorites. This trailer-redo was total bullshit, though. I always remember thinking how the trailer to Excalibur was one of my favorite trailers. It was actually a very well done. It didn't spoil anything, it had the cool music, it created curiosity about the film and made you want to see it. This redone trailer was totally inferior.

Irrsespective of what peeople say, I personally thought this movie was brilliant. And this clip was well put together :)

Yeah. It's a flawed masterpiece. Sprawling, slightly batty, and trying to cram too much story into a couple of hours, but amazing production values, and gets the spirit right. A bit like David Lynch's Dune.
