Also, tension was growing between the band members because of SP, so they did what they could to keep each other laughing by clowning around. Big Top World is figurative- like the circus has a big top tent, they just referred it to life.

non-stop touring then cutting an album. He lost his love Sherry because of this and he has spoke about this in many interviews. He paid a price for success. Things started getting to him, so he and Jonathan wrote a song about it. Also, his mother got cancer (died) and he just broke up with Sherry after 5 1/2 years. Basically he came to terms with himself and decided that his succes could not be the only thing that completed him.

I am sadly stirred by Steve Perry and his absense in current video's. No one, I mean NO ONE, is the vocalist that Steve Perry is. NO ONE.
