OH YEAH! That is one of the best sermons of all times.
It sickens me that this much deluded hatred and blind racism was still possible in America. .
"After five years of war, America is being given a new way to hate another race of humans. I fear this will spread the disease of intolerance and hatred as the official party line. I fear that this war will cause a setback for all that we have attained so far with regard to civil and human rights."

It is really important to note that the predominant reason for the failure of the US to achieve "victory" (I use the term loosely) was because they were up against an opponent who consistently employed guerilla tactics, and incredibly effective ones at that. The US army was and still is trained to defeat enemies they can see and distinguish from the remaining civilian population and the Viet Cong, in defense of their homeland, did not abide by traditional methods of warfare.
