I agree, it could be a bit cleaner. They could perform this song with less and make it cleaner and a bit more powerful. I've always loved being in a choir with only about 20 or so people.

The best version I ever heard of this was at the National Theatre in London last year, at the end of a play called "Coram Boy". The cast sang it, only about 15 of them, none of them trained, but with such gusto it was completely uplifting!
