It's just bad. Bad "concept," if you can go so far as to say it has one. Bad cinematography; it's so stationary and cheap looking. Videos can be really inexpensive and still avoid looking cheap. Also, Josh's dreads. Brutal.

the song and video are separate entities. the song is great. there's no question. however, i'm not talking about the song.
the video, made for the purpose of PROMOTING the song on television to get airplay on radio, and thus promote the album, is a piece of shit. it's a bunch of mostly static shots in a basementy with out-of-sync christmas lights. its about as uncreative as music videos get.
