The first day of menstruation is the first day of HEAVY flow, not just spotting. The normal woman ovulates 14 days after that first day of menstruating. However, sperm can live for up to 72 hours, and most women do not have a typical 28 day cycle. Which basically means that from about 11 days after the start of a new cycle, until about 18 days after the start of a new cycle are your most fertile days. Also, pleasure on both ends helps in the process. Missionary is the best position.

The first day of your cicle is when you menstruate..For me the brown spot is the begining of a new menstruation, so I start counting from that day
